The Inclusion Award is next expected to run later in 2022.

The LGBT+ Inclusion Award is a programme set up in partnership with the equality, diversity and inclusion teams at De Montfort University, the University of Leicester,  Leicestershire Police, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and Leicester LGBT Centre. The award provides visible recognition for organisations across the region for their commitment to LGBT+ inclusive practices.

 Applying for the award will consist of submitting evidence including any policies that you have in place for assessment. On completion of the assessment, a partner might arrange a visit to your organisation to identify strengths, learning and to provide support for further development. After passing the final assessment your organisation will be provided with an LGBT+ Inclusion Award certificate for external display and you will be invited to attend an annual awards ceremony.
